When you say you're okay... are you telling the truth?
Do you work so hard to meet everyone's expectations? Are you afraid that if you say no, you'll lose everything? Do you keep telling yourself, "Once I achieve this or that, then I'll slow down"? Have you ever thought about stepping out of this endless hamster wheel?
Everything you love—or everything that bothers you—reflects something about you.
You are the starting point.
No, this doesn't mean you should stop caring for your family tomorrow. It means finally choosing yourself, the way you want to live—not the way others expect you to. But what else could you do?
What if you started respecting your stressed, exhausted body instead of draining it every single day? What if you stopped rushing from one obligation to another—to your parents, your siblings, your friends? You're always the one who jumps in because you want to please everyone.
By evening, all you want is for the day to be over...
You no longer have energy for your partner, for your relationship. Even home feels like another workplace. Distance lies beside you in bed.
"I don't have time," you say...
And yet there's always time for the phone—the one you couldn't look at all day—because somehow that feels like relief.
Is there more love in your life now that you've worked yourself to exhaustion? Or is there simply a greater emptiness?

Loving yourself doesn't mean giving less to others. It means giving from what overflows within you.

Radical honesty is needed. Toward yourself.
Stop.
So you can finally see how far you've drifted away from yourself. Exhausted, you trail behind your own life like a shadow, while the hamster wheel keeps turning.
Love is coming home to yourself.
Sitting down, quietly, in your own company.
Because everything you've truly been searching for began with you... and finds its way home in you.
