Today, in many ways, is a new beginning.
After closing the past, the renewing light of the moon appears… somewhere it is the first day of a new year, elsewhere it marks a step into a new way of life.
In truth, it is the cyclical change of life. It is new — and at the same time, old.
Because the moon is always here, the days and years come to an end, yet the next one is already there.
We are still the same, and yet everything has completely changed — even our cells — while we have made it this far.
We live. And often we only notice it when it nears its end.
Until then, we function by adapting to the needs of others.
We give up on OURselves.
And in that moment, our light begins to fade.
Because we cannot do it alone.
We blame the other.
We hurt OURselves with words.
We hand ourselves over to the racing assumptions in our minds, rejecting or pouring out the ego’s dramatic emotions.
We run away.
In the chess game of the intellect, we try to please others. Then…
Suddenly we stop being ourselves.
Suddenly we no longer feel the vibration of our heart.
Suddenly everything becomes burned out and barren.
Suddenly we become lonely.
Suddenly love becomes only a word.
Suddenly we can no longer find joy.
Yet this is the illusion.
The essence of the game of life is to find our way through the labyrinth of accumulated knowledge and emotions, and return to where we came from — and where we have always been:
to the world of love, peace, joy, and lightness.
Everything is about us.
To be present in the moment.
To be motionless — and still in flow.
To let life be created through us.
To accept that everything is part of us, and we are part of everything.
To allow what is happening. To open OURselves to the power that wants to manifest through us.
All of this is hidden from us by petty conflicts, games, manipulation, and the desire to possess…
Sooner or later we become tired. We give up the fight.
And that is the moment when we finally begin to live again.
This is when a new timeline begins, when the new moon reveals itself, and when we become free once more — because despite the pain and our fears, we dared to choose OURselves.
Gratitude and thanks for the experience.
